Free webhosts. I finally got a paid webhost and I'm glad I did. I feel so good about this. At first I was using a free webhosts. (I didn't mind the ads, because most sites have ads and sponsors all over them anyway. But, I heard that free webhosts, steal your traffic, by directing it to other sites on thier system. I was going to go all out and promote for that site, but I got cold feet, because I don't wanna spend my paychecks on traffic and they steal it. Does anyone know of any site that does not steal thier traffic?

If your asking for a freehost that doesn't redirect good luck, bout the only thing that comes close is Revshare.

They have no banners, or adds of any kind. But you can only promote the approved sponsors, most of the big ones are there.

I would pay for hosting. I know at start its a pain and can be alot of money. But this you can advertise any where. Alot of TGPs are banning free host cause of all the spam, banners, extra links, redirecting links and other things.

So if you want a clean start then I would say to look around for a cheap hosting company then get that built up and move the site or domain to a diffrent server provider for better deals and a bigger server. If you can afford it right away I would have to say take a look at http://www.phatservers.net/ Get a shared account and then work your way up to a dedicated server once you start making the money...

Pros:
They pay for bandwidth and every thing else.
They let you use any promo stuff.
They do work

Cons:
Redirecting links
Tons of there banners
Some are banned from major TGPs
You dont have your own domain name.
You dont own your site
You cant build a TGP, AVS or paysite
NOT YOU OWN SITE!

Me personaly would go get a domain. Name my domain anything thing that I like. Then put it on a server that isnt banned and then use that. But then you pay for every thing and bandwidth is $$$ But some times it's well worth it...

Not all freehosts have banners.

You can have your own domain name.

You do own your site.

You can build tgps and Avs's.

I think you need to get your fact's straight, yes some freehosts do not allow the things you mentioned. But your being to general, and this in turn could mislead people.
