More Fresh Meat...

Hi Everybody,

I'm yet another newbie, but I'd like to think I'm a little bit more informed than just your regular ol' fresh meat webby master. I started up a new site last week called Best Booty -- from the lingo I see it's probably a blog/tgp/link site, but I'm not terribly savvy with everything quite yet.

I've got a spectacularly good domain name, bestbooty dot com (somebody mentioned in a previous thread that I can't post domain names yet?).

I have:

- Back posted a few months worth of wanking material.
- Manually signed up for maybe 10 directories so far, maybe more? It's kind of a laborious process and there are so many...
- Purchased a cheap ad with Adbrite on another site to see what happens.
- Posted a side page for Fleshlight as I think it's a good add-on, besides, those things are hilariously awesome.

I'm using Twistys, PussyCash, Dollars4Babes, and I just signed up for Diesel Action (only because those girls are goddamn HOT). Looks like everybody here has special opinions on who is best.

Thing is, I'm not sure what else I need to do. I feel like I need some more stuff, like linking to people for better traffic, etc. The current links on the right side of the page are mostly just there for the sake of being there (they are not all reciprocal). I want to avoid having to pay for traffic for the time being.

Is it really possible to make money from something like this? Is there an average turnaround time before things really start cranking?

Even tho I'm still not in porn biz, I'm pretty close to it with my designs, and other adult affiliate programs I'm in, so I'll give you a few pointers.

1. Your site lacks simply ins't interesting, you got no logo, no header, and design is very plain for a website (if I can call it a design)
2. Because of number one, and because of your "link sections" position, you'll pretty much lose all the traffic you get, they will simply click away from your site.
3. Your posts. Picture is too small, and text is too short. Small pics are not interesting or eyecatching enough, and small text will bring you much smaller SEO benefits/traffic. Bigger pics / longer and more interesting written part.
4. Banners on the lower part look messy, line them up, fix the code (minor thing)


That would be all from what I managed to see in a 2 minute inspection I made

Thank you SD. I'm a complete idiot when it comes to code -- those banners look horrible to me too, but I have no idea how to line them up properly. I guess this is going to take longer than I thought.
