A Little Help Please

My fiancee and I would like to know how to make a user jump to an specific area of another page.

We've been looking around but can't find it so if you can help please take a sec to share with us.

IIRC, this is how you do it:

on the page that you want the user to go to, at the part where you want them to end up, put something like this:

<a name="whatever"></a>

and then on the page that takes them to that point, put this:

<a href="page_to_go_to.html#whatever">click here</a>
