    I see questions about RSS keep coming up in the Q&A but the answer has been sitting in Traffic Trades...so here ya go:

    This is easy. Grab a feed and enter it here:

    Make a few easy adjustments and voila! You'll have javascript code you can add to your site. It even supports thumbnails.

    Here's one to get you started:

    Problem is that Java inserted RSS is 100% useless in terms of SE traffic.

    You are much better off using RSS2HTML.

      I'm just making it as easy as possible. RSS won't continue to grow unless it's easily accessible. Webmasters are lazy remember?

          Useful Bump

          I have had a sneaky feeling for a while that googlebot does actually execute javascript. Check it out:

            hey, this script does rss to html for you, instructions included in the zip.

            feedforall.com/download/rss2html.zip

            then if you want to display the generated html output use php include on your page.

            <?php include('yoursite.com/rss2html.php?XMLFILE=rss.news.yahoo.com/rss/topstories&TEMPLATE=sample-template.html'); ?>

            now you have the xml feed displayed as html on your own page !

            and this is a good one for ASP.NET
