average kb for full size

what size do you like to stay under or average for a full sized jpg after the thumbnail clicked on a gallery?

I keep mine under 40Kbs, I usually have it set at around 33Kb's for the larger images.

I don't like to waste B/W.

Let me stress this is "MY" personal preferrence, it is not ment to be anykind of standard.

The larger images, I have them at around 390X600.
