I am looking for a script that is perfect for a dating or mailorder bride site. It should contain multi level upgradeable memberships and be easy to customize.

I'm not sure that I would agree. I bought webdate and I'm having difficulty with it, and I'm not getting the customer support that I expected.

Beckie (or anyone else), would you mind helping me out? I'm assuming you've worked with this software. I just want to modify pages, such as the index file, because I don't like the text description they have as the default.

Here's my problem: When I pull the index page from the templates folder using FTP, and when I look at it in the admin area, I just see

Where is the text? To me, I can't edit the above. I have no clue. Where am I supposed to edit the description, like the stuff on the index page on the hairfetishpersonals.com website? Can someone clue me in? I thought I'd be working with html, as the site says, but I don't see any < > things here.

Sorry you're having problems. I've been working on webscribble's programs for about 4 years now.

Download your site using FTP. Go into the templates folder and you'll see all the files. There are only a few files you have to customize.

You can also customize the forms and whatever is emailed to members/users. (the forms/mail folders).

Yes, I tried that. Webscribble wrote to me last night saying that since I chose multilanguage format, everything is in the translation area. (This info would have helped sooner!) So yay! I'm getting it all sorted out now.

I'm now waiting for them to fix a couple bugs, namely the "Column 'name_de' specified twice" problem. Has everyone else dealt with this error message before?

I am becoming quite annoyed with all the bugs. Now they want access to info that they didn't need before. This info is a bit more confidential than what they needed before.

There have been a few times where the software had bugs, but they just had to change a few things to work with the server and everything worked. That can happen with any kind of software program.

What kind of confidential info are they asking? That's very odd and I'm curious.

I can tell you AZGDate is not very good from what I tried.
