    Need help with Paysite

    Hi,

I have been a long time reader of this forum... and I need some advice now and I would appreciate some input...

Im currently working with a paysite, and I have run into a problem:

We are going to have lots of streaming and downloadable videos in both .mov and .asf format, so my question is what kind of solution or script should I use to:

    a) Do not need to create a page for every video (is there a script that automaticly creates a page for each video, so I dont have to create or change the video page(s) everytime I add a video or change the design/layout of the video page(s) )

    b) Protect or make it hard for ppl to save the files.... (I think bubblegirls has a solution that makes it hard for ppl to save it directly to your own path...)

    Thanks,

You could use a small content management script like imagefolio that will organize your content and build the pages on the fly.

As for b) i am not familar with .asf and .mov and we are going a different route and let them download the videos.

Just add a link to the movie, it should open in the proper player.

Anyone with Quicktime Pro can save a .mov file to the hard drive. (I do believe, as I have done it many times).

I have been playing with internet radio and I believe that asf will not completely safe to a hard drive. I believe that asf will download just what is needed to connect to the server.

      Hope this helps.
