I've been reading the GFY forums for most of my x-mas break..I know most of you are going to reply with things like "there's money in porn?" or "You can make money with porn?" and other stuff like that..But in all honesty, how long does it take for a beginner to launch a site and start making about 1k a month?? Serious answers please, I'm deciding whether or not I want to pursure this industry as a way to hopefully pay for my college. thanks

It depends on who you are. How smart you are, who's advice you following, which luck god given to you and even if you stepped out of bed with the left or right foot. To be short: it is quite difficult to answer your question.

ok thanks guys..I mean, I knew absolutely nothing about all of this coming in..I've done quite a bit of research and think I've got a decent understanding of most of it. The only thing that gets to me is the actually starting up the website and dealing with the design/coding aspect of it. I've been talking to a guy to design my site/code it but once that's done I'll be putting in my scripts and thumbnails. I'm affraid im going to mess up the coding or something..but then again everyone has to start somewhere and the I feel that a thumb site is a great place to learn from..

Instead of testing one of the free scripts like comus I bought the arrowscript xmas special, my theory behind this is that I have to learn the program sooner or later so why not start with it now. And I think I'll be purchasing the Smarthumbs script xmas special as well. I've done a lot of researching into what companies I want to sign up as an affiliate and what kind of girls I want to showcase on my site.

You should test a free script before you buy in, it may not be for you, that's why we offer a free version, or at least one of the reasons. You can get the free version of comus, then if it works for you, then you can upgrade to the paid version, $100

Great advice, comus can be very intensive, jmbsoft has a great package but its pay, vanilla is another and there are more..

In regards to making $. You could make 1000 a month within 3-4 months if you do a few submissions a day. This isn't a guarantee, i'm a professional and work with this model all the time so it can go either way. Take in account that you will need to spend money on hosting, HOWEVER as your a college student, many providers will offer free webhosting if you PROMOTE THERE PROGRAM ONLY, myself included. We also offer some instruction with CHAMELEON SUBMITTER which is a great package to get you going.

Hey, thanks for the advice..I'm a little confused when you say do a few submissions a day? Is that in regards to running your own solo site? I'm looking in to running a thumb TGP site to begin off with. Also, I'll be sure to check out your site

Yes. It's very possible to make 1K a month, but it does take some work. Try signing up with and affiliate program, grab some of thier code and buy some traffic. Works from me.

It depends on how smart you are to figure out things and how much you wanna work ... but you can make some k money within months ...

your attitude is nice and I am sure the goal you have is pretty possible to be made. also this place is quite good to start with - people talk a lot of general stuff here, but if you can read in between that, you can find many good hints over here
