    domain name

    Hi

Is it better to start with a brand new domain name or
an expired domain name (free of course)?

    Thank you

Probably better to start with a new domain. However, if you cover the same subject as the previous website, you might have good luck with an expired domain.
If you won't feel as good, I won't feel as cheap.

Of course people will tell you the wrong thing to do......

Expired domains trump over new domains even if sandboxed.... I got the affordablesitedesign.com domain from the expired list, had been sandboxed for two years, with in a month it is reindexed.....

I would go with a new one my self, but be creative something that sticks in there head. You never know if an old domain name has been black listed.

I'd go for a new one for the same reason that other people have mentioned, mainly the fact you don't know if the domain has been blacklisted by SEs.
