    *** Getting a Jump Start ***

Ok so im thinking of starting up a porn blog using Word Press, or Thumblogger.. (Which do you guys recommend?)

I've got a couple questions before I start..

Where do I get my content from? Is it just hard linking to other porn sites/blogs or is there such thing as original content?

What are good ways of generating traffic and getting listed? Hard Linking with other sites? Who would want to hard link with a newly started site? Are google ads, adsense and the whole lot a good idea for porn blogs?

Is it better to go with a blog host or your own domain? What is an ideal amount of space/transfe to start off with? Any good hosting adult hosting sites you guys know of?

I've got moderate knowledge of HTML and marketing ideals, is there any other programming languages or marketing models I should research?

Is it worth paying for advertising or listings? Should I spend money to start off with? How much money should I save to promote the site?

I am great with researching and ability to solve problems is superb. Aswell I know what porn content is out there and what people want, and what's good. I have memberships to many adult sites including

    deluxepass.com
    videosz.com
    ztod.com
    bangbros.com

Furthermore I am very interested in the industry, and am serious about getting a jump start into it. If anyone would like like to help me out you can contact me at [email protected] .. I am willing to put %110 percent effort to be successfull and need your experts help. Thanks!

btw, I am located in Canada.

I think you would be best using wordpress or something along those lines, and hosting the blog on your own server with your own domain.

As for content, there are hundreds of affiliate programs out there in all kinds of niches, that have content available for their affiliates to use for promotion.

The amount of space and bandwidth a blog will use on a server depends on things like whether or not you will be making your own galleries etc and hosting them on your server. Some of the other guys here can give you some good links for hosting so heres a bump for them

Spend your time making some good regular posts, and keep your eye on the trade forum here where you will find people with similar sites looking for link trades. If you keep working, your page rank will increase, and you should then be able to find more quality link trades, and the search engines will hopefully be popping by as well.

    Hope this helps. Good luck!

wordpress on your own server is okay, i got some running, but i prefer serendipity(s9y.org), thinks simpler and better coding whatever both r okay depends on whats your favorite.
the weblog system itselfs uses only a few megs on your harddrive, the other thing depends on your entrys and posted media also the bandwith. If you post large video files you will use a lot bandwith if u post only small images not.

There are also some webspace providers which offer a one click install of weblog systems.
