SEO Software Worthwhile?

Is SEO Software really worthwhile for adult webmasters? I'm assuming so, and if so, what software should I look at?

hmm what kinds of software are you thinking of? Some software which comes up with lists to smaller engines, or submits to smaller engines can be useful.

when it comes to SEO, it's just making sure you have all the basics - those few minutes extra it takes to make the page are what makes the difference in traffic.

make sure you've got an appropriate title, plenty of text on the page you want in the SERPs, alt tags on your images, title tags on the links, more incoming links than outgoing etc...

the overture inventory tool is what I use most when trying to SEO pages!

having more incoming than outgoing links will affect my se optimization? i didn't know that. anyone got any other tips for optimizing my pages without the use of software? i want to get my pages pumped up. is that all that most of this SEO software is does? take my page and stick abunch of tags into it?

yeah always better to have sites linking into you (relevant links!) if you want to get a particular keyword in the engines have people linking to the relevant page using that keyword.

Google PR is figured that way, if you've got some great incoming links, you'll get a higher page rank. If some high page rank websites link you, your page rank will increase and google spider will visit more often. Try not to have more than a hundred outgoing links on a page. You want the bots to be searching your quality content, not thinking that you're a linkfarm.

So if you want to optimize for 'free porn' have people link to your site using the text 'free porn' if you want 'filth' to be your keyword have people linking in using that text.

the tags which are important are meta content and meta description, google uses the description one, the smaller engines use the content one.

the title and relevant keyword text on the page are probably the most important things to consider.

Not ok to use "jordan capri" in your metas, without any links to her on your site. WTF?

hook me up with an afiliate account and i'll be pushing jordan like a son-of-a-bitch. whats with the heavy restrictions lsu has on everything anyways? you make it one hell of a hassle to do any promo for aything. i fully intended on pushing all the ls girls on youngerhoneys.com until i ran into your brickwall affiliate program. and since when was it law what i can and cant put in my metatags anyways?
