I've got a friend who shoots custom content up in Canadia, pays the chicks $500 CDN for a softcore shoot (roughly 5-6hrs) that generates probably several hundred photos and some video clips. The models must provide their own make-up and wardrobe. He's building up the content for a paysite so not sure on the retail value, most chumps are charging $15-50 per set non-exclusive, figure you sell 10 sets @ $50 and you've already covered your cost. Cheap exclusive sets are probably either not exclusive or were shot in a foreign country where you can pay the models pennies on the dollar.

Forgot to mention that each shoot could generate dozens of individual "sets" depending upon how many photos you take and which are usable. This could also be how they charge $200 per exclusive:
50pics per set, 500 photos per shoot =
10 sets @ $200 =
$2,000 - $500 cost =
$,1500 profit
