    You are using a PHP & MySql script that is written and tested on a Linux/Unix box and that is OK.

    The problem is here:

    PHP Code:
    Warning: Too many connections in /home/www/ratehertits.com/welcome/includes/sql_layer.php on line 66
    Warning: MySQL Connection Failed: Too many connections in /home/www/ratehertits.com/welcome/includes/sql_layer.php on line 66
    Warning: MySQL: A link to the server could not be established in /home/www/ratehertits.com/welcome/includes/sql_layer.php on line 66
    etc.

    I guess you have to restart the MySql server.

      Is your php code using mysql_pconnect? If so, you may want to try using mysql_connect. If you have access to your php.ini file, change the mysql.max_links to:

      mysql.max_links = -1

        You need to ask your members to manually kill each MySQL connection after they are done using it.

          Mr. Fictions is definetly the best in this group BUT if you don't find that to be suitable, cut and paste the error MINUS any server specific info (site name, directory structure) in http://groups.google.com with quotes around it so it searches for the whole phrase. You will find a solution to 98% of all lifes questions there.
