    tricky situation

I run a website that has no age limit on its signups - the site has a very large userbase, and about 10% of its users are under 18

We are planning to make the site only available for 18 and older so that we can show adult ads..but would we have to make the site 21 and older to show people in the US adult ads? :o

And how could we sort out the situation..as we would still have members who were underage ..would we have to delete them all

    Thanks in advance

Yes you'd have to delete the underagers...Or make the site so they don't see any adult content. Don't be warping their fragile little minds! And well you don't want an angry mom on your back with a lawyer...

I'd imagine most adverts would be ok for those over 18. Put a warning page up on your site, then your ass is somewhat covered. Registerring yourself with IRCA will help keep any feds off your back too.

Many sponsors aren't showing hardcore banners now anyway, due to 2257.
