I'm looking for a way to embed videos into my wordpress blog posts similiar to the way You Tube videos can be. Why not just use You Tube> Well they keep deeming my stuff "inappropriate" and I'd prefer to have full control over what I can put up. I'd like to be able to run something that will work for most visitors without them needing to install anything extra if possible. Is there anything that mimics You Tubes player?

Hi, I had the same problem with my wordpress blog. Try porkolt.com and change in your wordpress user profile the settings so you can edit HTML directly in your posts. It works for me!
If not let me know, i was busy for days to find a way to post embedded videos in wordpress.

This is what I do, use a standard html page, embed the movie into that, then use a iframe in wordpress to include the html file you embedded the movie into , wala. That's what www.porno-shack.com does whenever we post videos in itComment

www.musicswarm.com - i just put the HTML code from Youtube directly into my post. Make sure you turn off the gay rich text editor in WOrdpress and you're gold.
