Music?

Hi guys, this is my first post.

I'm encoading some videos to go on my new site and i was wondering what to do about the music? I don't know much about copyright law but i'm guessing i can't just add any music i like? Is there anywhere i can get music i can legally use? Also whats the deal if music is playing in the background?

Yeah you'll run into copyright problems. Do a web search for licensed music.

There wouldn't be music in the background on the site, i personally don't like that either. It's just for music on the videos that will be available to stream/download

you could always just use myspace find a new/unsigned band that sounds like a clone of the professional sound you want, then ask to use the tracks...Most bands will jump at the chance for more promo and a new audience so you're in there. Chances are the band will probably post bulletins to their fans straight to yer vids too.. free extra promo

I faced the same situation

I faced the same situation. I made contact with copyright societies around the world and the answer is one ? No!

Reason being, the risk of offending the feelings of the artists whose music they license. That is of course because of the use in porn.

I ended up finding the artists I like and get their consent individualy. I suspect you must do the same.

Be ware. Porn is a sensitive thing. Do not play with other people's copyright. It may prove to be very expensive.

I was after some trance music by the way.
