Need help with Fucky Monkey script please

Hi,

I wanted to test the Fucky Monkey script on a test subdomain I created and its driving me insane
I read around here and saw that some people here use it, so I hope someone is kind enought to help me out.

I installed it and everything worked fine, but now what????

I read the manual to it and also read through the support forum, but I really dont understand it. Most I read there makes no sense to me at all

I tried following it step by step, but all I can see is a blank index.html page. When hitting the "Build Gallery" button I always get this message:

Please, you may create a file in this path
/my test directory/index.html
and CHMOD to 766!!!

Damnit!!!

There is a index.html there and it IS set to 766

This is really driving me nuts.

OK, I found the solution myself now.

For everyone installing it for the first time:

Do NOT install it in a folder like ../tgp/ as instructed in the readme. Copy everything in the root directory, then it will work.

I have on several sites under the tpg/ directory... your server is just retarded

The generate.php tries to create a index.html in the ROOT DIRECTORY.

You can change that by looking for the variable $main_html in config.php (admin dir) and changing it to the directory you want ex: ../tgp/...

As you can read in my first post the problem was NOT the folder that I copied everything to. The problem was generating the index.html. I wrote the reply above because I did not know that with the config.php. I copied everything in the root directory and it worked, see above why.

Let me quote Fucky Monkey himself, he should know best:

You can choose where your main page will be generated as categories pages too! If you look into your config.php into the admin dir, you will see the variables.... . Try look for $main_html and change the path for it!
