Start a soft porn (babe) site ??

Hello Everyone. I am looking for some advise from you all, and I am hoping you can help me out.

I am thinking of starting a babe aka soft porn site that has daily link dumps, gallery pictures and maybe video clips. When I search the internet I see thousands of these sites. Do you think there still is some income from these sites? Ofcourse I am hoping to make a buck otherwise I wouldn't get into this biz. Getting traffic may be difficult. How long will it take to round up some traffic and what sort of income should one expect from various advertising and affiliate program? estimates.

Any thing you can throw my way would be appreciated.

There is no money in porn.

That being said if your trying to get into this biz at this point you have to be willing to work long hours for very little money (if any) at first.

If you are serious about it then here is what you do.

1st step is to read.
2nd step is to read some more.
3rd step is to repeat.

The questions you asked can't be answered because there is no straight answer. That is why I suggest that you read up more.

But surely there must some income associated with a "babe" site. Income from affiliate programs, memberships, ppc ads etc... But let's say I am able to get 100,000 hits per day. what do these kind of sites earn? guestimately?

Oh, and if people don't get into this biz for the $, then what? love, lust, sexual interest? I am curious. Maybe I am too naieve.

There are so many variables that it is almost impossible to give you an answer on possible income.

With 100k hits a day you could literally make no money at all or you could be pulling in several thousand a month. Same goes for 500 hits a day are 500k for that matter.

A few factors to consider are....
Where is you traffic coming from? Is it highly targeted or is it TGP skim traffic?
What does you site look like (will it convert)?
Do you have the right sponsors and content to match your traffic?

Get a good site that converts with the right traffic and you will be on the right track. Of course if everyone could do that easily everyone on GFY would be the millionaires they claim to be. The ones that can do it and keep making more sites are the real millionaires.

The situation is that most people that start out in this industry either fail or give up. They don't do enough research and they think it's easy money. It's not. It either takes hard work and a lot of knowledge or a lot of money and a lot of knowledge. If you really want to give it a go in this biz you should do as much reading and learning about how certain sites work and how to work a site.

There is still money in porn for newbies, but like in any other business you have to work at it and it's possible that you will fail.

It's pretty hard to convert on babes alone - because so many sites out there do it, why not make it more of a niche site 'biker babes','babes in panties','rebel babes' you get the idea...It will be a lot easier to make a quick buck, it will just be more challenging to grab the traffic...Still I imagine with babes there are plenty of toplists, blog directories, and other sites that would trade links.
