I have a TGP running at 15k (no big deal but hey, it's a start).
Now here is my story:
First 2 months everything went smooth but then there were some issues with the subnet my server is in. This resulted in a total downtime of about 5-6 hours (during 2 weeks) and my traffic dropped by 30-40%.
To avoid that in the future I would like to know if there is a possibility to set up a backup solution. Just in case my server at Rackshack cannot be reached, the routing goes on to server 2 (with a different hosting provider).
I tried to setup the other hosting company's nameserver as 3rd and 4th nameserver entry with my domain. Problem was, that the domain began to always resolve to the 3rd and 4th nameserver entry
Any ideas what I can do to have a nearly 100% uptime guarantee?
