Hi there guys.
I read for a quite long time this board and am ambitious for having a good site.

You see, im running this weblog but my problem is that after 3 months i still havnt enough profit to payoff my server costs. I don't know my problem. Maybe because the ~5k unique /day is too few.
I am thinking about to buy traffic, is this a smart turn? Or doesnt it work for blogs?
And are there some other tips? I was thinking of getting to that convention in Amsterdam to do some networking. But am i not too 'young' to go there?

If anyone have some good hints , you are very welcome

you don't have any text on any of your posts . I"m not saying I'm a guru or an expert on weblogging or making thousands of dollars however I find giving larger pictures and more pictures per post as well as something hot, dirty and descriptive (about 2 small paragraphs of key word dense text) seems to really make my surfers want to see what I'm giving them and join the sites as well.

Also... I see that you have feedburner going... Are you using their publicize tools such as adding chicklets for readers to add your blog to their favorite news reader? I use just about every publicize tool they offer that would allow a potential reader to get notified. if you are using wordpress there are also syndication plugins you can use to get them to subscribe

Where are those ~5k visitors coming from? I doubt they are from Search Engines coz the amount of text and SE optimization is very low on your blog.
That CCBill stats looks good to me. 1:200 is a very good ratio for babe blogs. It does sound a bit strange that you can not pay your server with 5k daily visitors and 1:200 sponsors ratio. Are you sure that they are not ripping you off?

A sage piece of advice i've read from Porn Resource is that greater traffic doesn't always equal greater sales; you should focus more on marketing to your existing 5,000 visitor base than seeking more visitors.

Or to put it another way, my sites are lucky if they get 100 visitors a day (yes, that's one hundred) - yet i have still made a few sales using this lacklustre traffic.

those 5000k visitors are from weblog partners. we trade galleries via email (list of +90 webmaster, i think half of them really plug my galleries)

Ratio is based on the ammount of people clicking on banners from my hosted galleries.. so they arent really reliable.

im busy on a new design , (3-4 column) so updates arent very often now..

so you people say: more text, bigger pictures ?


BTW: im still running wordpress. so alot of is done manually. arent there anybetter scripts?
