Hello, new to the biz here. I sure have not noticed any adult production companies here in TX. Is this a bad state to get into the adult biz? That being said, theres about 10 or 12 porn shops within 20 miles of my house. But I am wondering how hard it might be to operate a porn website in the state.

It's not hard at all. Or much different than operating a porn website from California, or even another country. I don't know what kind of operation you are planning, but I have ran websites off and on for a couple years with no problems. Even if you are planning to incorporate, say if you were into this full-time, you could just list the purpose of the corporation as "Any legal business" which is probably what the majority of corporations are incorporated for. As long as you are not conducting the business on premises (selling porn out of your house or even out of the trunk of your car), most of your customers will likey be in other states with a website.
I think your biggest concern should be the federal government, so make sure your 2257 stuff is in order. -
