Did I make a wise decision? (Hosting)

I'm new at this.

I just got a developer package from 1and1. 20 dollars a month for, 1500GB month and it's virtual hosting (I believe is the term) not dedicated.

Lets just say I send like around 60k people to my domain and like all of them watch like 3-5 1.5-3mb pron clips. If I calculate correctly I would use roughly 2000GB-10000GB a month!?

What are some of you webmasters experience with that amount of traffic to MPG galleries. What is the average bandwidth you would use for like 50K or even 100K. I failed math btw... well I got D's.

I know I will probably have to get dedicated hosting. I don't have a problem with that. I'm just starting out and taking it easy. I don't think 1and1 has any packages that have more than 1500GB a month.

What are some hosting companies that are reputable and fair priced and can give me dedicated hosting with good bandwidth?

Oh true I didn't think of that. Like some sponsors let you make your own gallery template and link to the videos on their hosting.

I read their terms of service. The way I interpeted it was, yes but it can't be targeted to anyone but adults and and can't be any of that illegal stuff...

You might want to double check the porn hosting on 1and1. I will also. I use 1and1 for domain purchases because they have the best price that I have found and great customer service. When I read the TOS, I thought it said no adult sites, however I have been known to be wrong and/or they may have modified their TOS. Good Luck!

Well here is the part it gets into that kind of stuff in the TOS. I just skimmed it the first time. Now that I read it all again though carefully they are really strict about it, especially just adult performers made to "look" like underage teens seem to be forbode by 1and1 and they could also determine that it is too accessable to minors and that would be a violation and so on. I still assume they allow adult content. What do you think?

I guess I won't be hosting my own actual TGP with them. I think I can get away with just hosting the galleries themsleves for submition to other sites.

I only paid for 3 months...
