    Paranoid

Ok, what is everyone doing with the new change in law? I have over 95,000 FHG's on a single site alone. I am about ready to pull em all down abd replace them with text links to the sponsors.

I have been reading every forum i belong to and looking at more to see what people are doing. What are other folks doing about all this?

ok.. the SHORT VERSION for the legal-speak impaired and the impatient....

The term 'producer' now applies to anyone who is responsible for "inserting on a computer site or service a digital image of, or otherwise managing the sexually explicit content, of a computer site or service that contains a visual depiction of, sexually explicit conduct" That means us. The term 'Secondary Producer' no longer exists. We are all in the same category, whether we take the photos or simply display them on our websites. 2257 requirements now fall upon all of us.

The Attorney General is now required to give an annual report to congress detailing the number of 2257 inspections conducted, the number of cases pending, the number of violations found, and the number of convictions. In other words, he needs to make some busts in order to have something to report.

The 2257 documentation gets really screwwy too. Along with the IDs, we are required to list EVERY alias the model has ever used, including stage names, names used for film or photo shoots, maiden name, etc. I assume that WE are still responsible if the model lies to us or omits any known aliases.

There is also a major toughening of the laws regarding the shipping/distribution/and transport of obscene materials.

All in the name of keeping children safe from sexual predators.

I am in the process of changing out my galleries to text only and inserting topless thumbs.

So if we only have nude girls and not showing the snatch area on our sites, are we ok then?
