AdultFriendFinder.com does NOT pay you on a pay per click basis, despite what they say!
The cost per click they pay you depends on the number of conversions you have... so they are really paying you on a "cost per action" basis, NOT a cost per click.
They're just trying to trick you.
If they were paying you on a "cost per click" basis you'd be getting a FIXED price or a high FIXED minimum price.
But you're not. Nothing is fixed. (So it's NOT on a pay per click basis.)
Just having the user click on their link on your TGP (or whatever) does NOT generate you any money! The user then has to click on entry button on their page.
Now... having said that, this looks better than alot of the stuff out there.

But it's still NOT pay per click.
i do agree, but that "gateway" is to stop cheaters who popup the page or iframe it or whatever... no PPC program will make money without a measurement like that...
You know... some one could do cost per click if they implemented a fraud detection system.
Alot of (mainstream) ad network out there buy on a CPM basis and sell on a CPC or CPA basis. And they take the risk.
What they do is implement a really good fraud detection system and really closely watch the effective CPM -- the eCPM -- they are getting from advertisers.
Of course, you usually need some kind of optimization system to figure out the best ad/thumbnail/whatever to show.

Yeah, I know why they do it.
But if they had an automated (possibly self-serve) system to watch this type of stuff -- watch for fraud, watch conversion rates, etc -- then they wouldn't need it.

Is anyone doing anything like that.
(If not, there's an opportunity there )
its easier to impliment it right there, then monitoring every person sending traffic for fraud

Yes, we do exactly that on the RAW program at www.fpctraffic.com - No gateways to pass thru, just a flat per click rate, based on hits sent to us.
