Anti CAPTCHA algorithm. Would one buy?

    Hi,

I'm working on image recognition as my diploma project at a university.

How do you think who can be interested in an algorithm that is able of breaking captchas? Yahoo, Myspace, Google etc.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance.

Other than spammers, I really cant think of where that would be all that useful.

I guess there could be instances where being able to automate web forms w/ captchas would be handy... but i see this as a tool to be used by spammers, primarily.

Spammers will abuse it, then somebody will come up with another way to prevent automated form entry..

Sounds like a cool project.. Either way, CAPTCHA's wont be a secure method for very long. If you can develop it.. so can spammers.
