Cropping content?

I'm curious if there are any content providers who allow or forbid such a thing? (Cropping content, resizing, etc.)

Sometimes it seems like the stock content is good enough to get someone to quit browsing all together.

I have some cheap friends!!

I have found most sponsors get pissed if you mess with the watermark on the full sized pics but don't mind you cropping/playing with the thumbs you link with. Theres a lot that can be done to make sponsor supplied content look better aka different that the next guy using cropping and color balance/sharpening... The bottom line is if your generating sales for them and you do nice work most folk's are gonna be reasonable. If you have any doubts, make some samples and drop a note to the respective sponsor asking their opinion. This biz could always use more constructive feedback anyway.

Content providers most likely would not care as its part of your license, read the fineprint of the license arrangement.
