Content licensing question

I was checking out a couple conent providers for some exclusive photos and vids. Thier licensing model stated that I couldn't copyright, watermark, or alter the material.

Is this standard practice for exclusive material?

you can't copyright pictures you buy because the producer of the content owns it. They can give you license to use the pictures and you most likely can resize them but you cannot pass them off as your own. that would include watermarking them with your own watermark.

That is entirely crazy. The purpose of purchasing exclusive content is your buying the rights to do anything you want. So they are not being proper with there license.
