1.) What should be the targeted traffic per day for an adult website? is 1K plus per day enough?
2.) About the sales, how do you target your sales qouta is it per day or per month?

Firstly, welcome to GFY!
1) How do you mean? I don't think there's an industry-wide set figure as such, just use an amount that you can a) afford, and b) that will make a decent return.
2) How do you mean "target a sales quota"?

I don't think 1k will work.. well it could, but you really have to promote in your target market.. but still may be hard.

and for #2 ... I try new adult programs every day, I plug one on my home page, if it makes a sale, great I mark it down.. some make zero sales and I send 1500 clicks to it, others make a sale after 200 clicks... after trying and trying again you will get the idea od what works and what does not for your own site.

Welcome to GFY. Dont care too much for your traffic. Traffic grows automaticly if update your sites regulary, trade links and just advertise it here and there. Youll enjoy the results
And no 1k isnt a big number, but possible is everything. Some guys have 300 hits and 3 sales a day, some have 30.000 and 1 sale a day. So theres no garantue for sales at all.
Just focus your targets and you will reach them somehow.. sooner or later

I agreeance

1) 1k really wouldn't be considered a lot of traffic to your site. I've gotten a sale with less but the more eyes on your site the better, right?

2) Don't expect to make any sales. They come when they come. You can think you've got the hottest gallery up there or whatever but until you pique the interest of that guy with his wallet out you ain't making jack. Just keep plugging and submitting and building that traffic. The sales will come or you'll interest.

Link dumps are ok for quick traffic, but probably wont convert to big dollars... I have one that I launched a few weeks back that sends out ok traffic, I can't post the url since im a noob still, but you can check it out at linkdumper dot org , feel free to submit a link no link required in return, but it would be nice... the site also has a simple link swap on the middle left area of the site, which I'm looking for swap partners (your link will be a hard link).
