    Video Editing ?

I'm starting to play with video galleries and had a question for any video gurus. What are some good tools to edit video with to both trim clips and change video formats and sizes? Any recommendations would be appreciated.

    Thx

Well if you want to edit video files we first need to know what kinda codec was used for compression?
      Is it mpg, DivX??

and i reccomend you not to resize those files, or recompress them. This has major quality loss.

The best program for editing video is Adobe Premiere 6.5. I think the 6.0 trial version is still available for download at adobe.com.

It has plenty of options for saving to different formats. If you want a good mpeg encoder plug-in look for LSX Mpeg Encoder Suite or just the plug-in for premiere.

You can find the full "Classroom in a Book" for Premiere on Kazaa.

          hope that helped

I agree that Adobe Premiere is by far the most advanced software commercially available for what you are seeking. You might also look at media100's software. It lacks some of the bells and whistles, but it is a little easier to use. I use Premiere for some of the more advanced features, but I also use media100 for the everyday stuff. It just works a bit better for simple things...such as titling.

Frankly, unless you plan to major in video production in college, the best thing you can do is shoot some video and then start playing with the editing program to learn it.

Or you can go here -

SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.
