Smart programs that do both try to run the math on their revshare % so it's about the same..

But there are factors that depend on the site/program...

i.e. If I'm promoting a site that never gets updates, I have no confidence that I'll see much recurring, so I'd choose PPS if offered. (So they often offer only revshare

And, of it's one of the programs that regularly delivers SOME new content during the membership, even if its though bonus sites in a package...there is reason to expect recurring. (Hence why so many of those programs tend to only offer PPS)

I myself have an erotic photography page and the only sponsors I use are from CCBILL. This means all of them are recurring.
Before this I was in the porn using sponsors that pay per signup and in the end their isn't a really big difference between both.

The only thing I like about recurring is when you see that a certain member stays a member for over a year. It doesn't happen a lot but when it does it's a really good thought that you're earning money from this guy for over a year

The thing I hate is that sponsor programs like GODDESS give you $4 per signup and than 4more each month, I mean 'WHAT THE FUCK'. It's frustrating to know that most porn sponsors would give $30 to $40 for the same signup instead of $4 a month

Promote anything - i'd opt for partnerships, much like the 60/40 split we offer on my program. Our sites are unique and unsaturated so we do well. Some others as another person mentioned are just shell sites, part of a big network. Only the procrastinators who fail to cancel will be the ones recurring on those.

For me, nothing makes more money then PPS trails that give the surfer access to a network of different sites and payout the webmaster $25-$35.
On the hand I read that certain niches are way better to go with recurring then PPS. Shemale specifically... surfers tend to stay members much longer I guess.

this question gets asked many times. it depends on the site. its best to try a little bit of both.

i've found revshare sites that end up paying out $40+ join and others which only average 10-15, so its a trial and error type of thing.
