OK, I've decided to offer up some free preview videos on my tour. I'm going to have three preview pages with about 4 clips per page. Each clip will have about ten screencaps and a one minute preview video.
My questions are:
- could I submit my tour pages to free content list pages. Like, rather than have a standalone page of free stuff with links to my paysite tour, could I just go straight to my tour pages? I'm just not sure if this is a no-no at free site lists. Is it even a good idea?
- if this is an ok thing to do, would 12 videos be enough content for most free content list sites?
- if this is a bad idea, I'm thinking about setting up some free movie gallery pages. Would the best approach be to use some fairly mediocre content in order to encourage the user to click through to my main site (like, by pushing them off the crappy free page) or should I use some really good content and just make it clear that there's plenty more where that came from on the main site?
