    what a start

Running a freehosted weblog for over 3 years now and hitting 25k daily I thought it was time to buy me a dotcomdomain and some space next to it. After a few weeks work getting the layout a bit more pro I uploaded my stuff and everything looked great online. For 2 days that is! Right now I 'm already 3(!) hours offline due to :

We had some errant updates to our apache webservers which resulted in a few domains receiving the wrong IP. We are updating those now with the correct IP which should be completed within the next two hours. With the maximum time to live on DNS of two hours that means everything should be working within 2-4 hours at most.

My host? Dreamhost.....Is it just a onetime bug or will it happen more in the future? If so, I'll have to find myself a new host I guess. Any suggestions what to do now?
