Gallery design QUESTION - Messy messy table

OH crap, dreamweaver is pissing me off, maybe someone can help me.
I am doing my first gallery design ever, and i made a table, cut out the images, made a big spot for the thumb image, put it as background, now i have to make a table for the thumbs so the client can easily put the thumbs in there, so i tried to make it but dreamweaver is totally messing it up, and i wanted to try with front page but it showed me the page upsidedown, how the hell do i set up the table for the thumbs?!?!?
    AAAAAAAAAAAAA
    HELP!

        Wait, I'm sorry - did I hit a nerve?

C'mon, jokes aside, the problem sounds simple. "With my attitude" I may not be able to help you because you don't seem to want my help but if you still post what you are talking about, someone else might be able to help you.

I don't see any problems with a designer whose never worked with tables before just as long as s/he does not skirt the fact and admit it and try to learn it.

        Good luck anyways.

Here's some steps to proper design (steps which i myself use, and i don't even class myself as a web designer - although i've done it in the past):
          1. Real designers hardcode (raw HTML in a decent text-editor or IDE)
          2. Use DIV elements instead of a TABLE, and then use CSS to float the DIVs around to create the physical
          3. Good luck with the design company, especially with broken sites in your portfolio like http://www.theworldbaseballclassic.com

i use dreamweaver since ive new to html etc and i find it a hell of alot easier, with dreamweaver make sure you double check the box etc you make for your thumbs, occasionally it will change the size on you and shit like that.

Oh you guys are making fun of me

Sorry about that, I was really upset about dreamweaver.
I think I know what the problem was, for a blank table dreamweaver writes some weird word that doesn't let me make the table smaller than like 10 pixels of height....
Although when i delete that word it seems to be doing some other weird shit.
And i have experience with Tables, i don't have experience with Galleries

Thanks for the tips, but I don't really use DIVs, i should learn though, also I hardly use CSS, should go through that too... it may sound like i'm a newbie designer, but my designs are alright ;) even without CSS and DIV. that should be an upgrade.
And it's not my fault theworldbaseballclassic.com isn't working sometimes, usually it's up.. you want me to take off the link of one of the only sites i made just because it's down sometimes?... it's not my only portfolio it's just that i didn't post any porn portfolio on that site designermn.com.

Yeah that shit is crazy... messing up my whole table.. jesus christ

Maybe i need some personal help with this from an expert, any chance someone can gimme a few minutes of their time on ICQ or messenger?

I only need to know the basics of making galleries.. or paysites

You could allways ask a proper designer for help.

Get yourself down to http://www.w3schools.com and learn all there is to know about DIVs, CSS, XHTML and so on for nothing.

As for the site - i didn't mean that it goes offline, i meant there are some glaring errors there - like the "broken image" at the top and bottom of the page, line-up problems with the header bar and image and so on.

If you ever need any advice then feel free to hit me up on ICQ anytime.

What's wrong with wysiwyg editors? I can code "by hand" too but I use Dreamweaver to save time.

But if there's something I'm missing, feel free to enlighten me (I'm not being sarcastic either, I'm actually pretty serious).

Back to the problem: MosesTheTool: your description doesn't make any sense. None of us know what you've tried using in order to fix the problem. Nested tables? CSS? HTML? XHTML? XML? Explain further and maybe we can help.
