ok, if i was wanting to try my hand at the blog idea, how would i go about starting this.

Im new to the whole blog thing, so any help would be awsome.

1. Get yourself a blogging script (Word Press, boast Machine etc.).
2. Get yourself some content from an affiliate (Mayor's Money, Spunk Bucks, ZTOD etc.).
3. Get a decent template for your blog.
4. Start posting a picture or movie from one of your affiliates and a quick bit of write-up everyday.

I find a few lines of text with a large picture below it linking to a fhg works best for my blogs.

What are the experts' thoughts on services like Blogspot?

Why let them host a blog for you when you can do it on your own server?? it's just a waste of time imo in the end they have controll over your site not you.

All right, my last blog-newb question: which blogging program in your opinion is the easiest to set up, customize, change, etc.? The one I've been hearing the most of is WordPress. Is this the way to go?
