Newbie question

I have a website reddragonmodels. net but i have been told the graphics are horrible on it. I knew they werent the best, but i didnt think it was that bad... anyway I want to know about getting a new graphical background/theme. What do i ask for, what should I expect to be charged. I need something eye catching but not over the top. Please, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

okie, here are some advices from me:

1. something wrong with your logo, this is should be number one in your list of changes on this site

2. move down friendfinder banner, for example try to get a square banner and place it in the left panel or maybe the same banner under your content.
anyway first thing on your site, must be your logotype!!!

3. BW topheader, isn't too sexy

header is pretty big... you may want to eliminate that top margin it's way too high and just wasted whitespace.

you need some contrast in your page... everything is grey and white for the most part. some color (consult a color wheel) perhaps blue, would be a good contrast to the graphic on the left.

also making the text darker (black would be best) would make the page much more readable.
