Thumbs tgps are easier to develop traffic on the beginning...

Do both. And do a thumb/text combo site too. You can use the same db for multiple sites.

Text. I think it's because surfers get to distracted by so many hot pics but when it's text they use they imagination and click on the first thing they read that sounds good. Just my thoughts.
