Anyway to get a lot of friends on MySpace really fast?

For those of you that use MySpace, how is it working out for you and what would you tell someone who is new to the game. Tips tricks etc.

Any advice would be great.

Because people spam their sites on it. Even to people underage. Some 14 year old kid gets a friend request from some girl with hot pictures of course he is going to add her. I get a few of them sent to me everyday. I send them back links to my sites.
