    Video Editing Question

Which program do you use to render video...I am currently using Sony Vegas 6.0 and I am having problems when there is alot of color in the background...It makes the model look less sharp on certain parts of the video...Kinda gives her the crater face....Any suggestion.!!!!

Windows Media Encoder takes some of the color away from the background in my experience and it's free. I also use Digital Rapids for Quicktime and Real, you usually can get a free trail version.

I don't think the problem is so much to do with the software as it is the codec or format you're saving the video to. Sony Vegas is actually a very good editing software. I'd take a second look at what format/codec you're using to save the final edit, and either change that, or adjust the settings. What you are experiencing sounds like video "artifacting", due to excessive or high compression ratios.

      Ouch.

Roger is right, it sounds like a codec settings issue. Check out http://vasst.com under free resources there are plenty of good tutorials for Vegas.
