I do not know what you consider is cheap, but I can suggest to take a look at the guys from Phatservers. I went to the cheapest hosts before, but there is always a catch later on or support is bad. Not that I am that experienced, but I think these guys rock...and support is the best...I cannot offer you a deal with them, but you can sure count on these guys...there is no such thing as very cheap and very good hosting...is either, but on most not both...good luck with your search!
