Video editing question

I'm sure it has been asked before, so if someone could point me to the right thread that would be great...

What is a simple utility for cutting a move clip in half? I dont really want to go through the headache of locating and installing Vegas or anything like that, just something simple.

They are 3.5 megs each now and there is 6 of em for the gallery, I'm thinking somewhere around a meg each would be just fine. I'm not gonna submit the gallery yet, lol... Could get expensive the way it sits now
