Dumb Ass? WMV file uploads

I'm a newbie to the site, so hi

I'm probably being the dumbest broad on the block here but I'm trying to upload WMV files and allow members to download them (not stream) from a members section. They are on the server but the pop up box doesn't appear when you click on the link.

Can anyone help, please??

If you want your members to save your videos to their hard drive instead of streaming the video through a player or a web page, then simply instruct them to "Right-Click and Save As" on the filename.

As Mav-rick mentioned the right click is the best way becuase different people have vairous setting for file types. For instance my firefox will download .wmv with a single left click but play .mpg in the browser.
