Question about Content Licenses

Hi, i want to get into designing TGP and Gallery Templates with intent to sell.

Obviously these templates will have some photo images on them.

How does this work?

Most Content Providers state that their content can not be resold to other webmasters.

How do other designers get around this? What can i do? Is this a problem?

Each template that i design will be sold multiple times.

Please help me on this.....thanks!

Who's going to want that? People need unique designs. TGP galleries are for promoting specific sites. A generic design isn't worth anything to most of us.

You might think about making some sample designs with affiliate content and then offering your services as a designer. The people who hire you would then provide the content that they have the right to use.

What I recommend is when you purchase the content you license it to the original owner, when you purhcase the content you get the contracts in mail and just fill in your customer sname.

Surely Unique designs are expensive for people

Hi, i understand that people would prefer unique designs, but surely having unique designs all the time is just too expensive....

There must be demand for templates....no?

I mean, i have seen websites that sell templates for like $10. These can't be unique designs for this cost....

Please, any advice...

There's a lot of competition out there. Yes, people are selling unique designs for $10 each.

I've only been able to find a few good web designers and I've tried a lot of them that just aren't very good.

If you want to be a great web designer for adult projects, spend some time learning the business and get a firm understanding how better designs mean better conversions. If you can make designs that work (convert sales) you will get steady returning customers. If not, you'll be living day-to-day competing with all the hacks selling cheap designs.
