TGPs: Simpler or Complex

My TGP I'm making has the old school look of old TGP's which I like. They load quick, easy to find catagories, good for 56K users...the list goes on. I could make tons of graphics around thumbs and what not, but I feel that wont do as good as a TGP like thehun, elephant list, greenguy, worldsex, etc etc

What do you all think about this? Simpler or more complex with graphics...layout etc

well.. if you are mainly doing it for bookmarks.. simple is best

but... if you plan to trade.. well production would be low with text only.

Yep. Most top TGPs I see are straight to the point.

When I was a newbie to the internet I found thehun (7 years ago?) and liked it, i acutally thought people sent them a letter or something with pictures, and i thoight he posted them and made each gallery LOL....That's because it said the name of the person that subbmited them near the link

I like simple and my tgps do pretty well traffic wise when I was on top of doing them. The Shemp is a good place for trade. Not sure if it did anything but give hits to my sites. Couldnt really tell in sales a difference. So I wouldnt kill yourself making them or anything.

do i list your galleries or trade traffic with you?

Keep it simple and don't clutter it up with a bunch of stuff. In most cases, simple is better. Good luck.....
