I need a new host. Phatservers has been going down or really slow for me lately. I cant afford to stay with them anymore I feel like its costing me too many visitors and sales. Can anyone recommend a host, with virtual packages ( yes I only require a virtual plan) ~150 gigs a month bandwidth, 1000 megs or so of hd space. PHP/MYSQL all that junk. Not to crazy expensive but I'm willing to pay for that high quality bw that doesnt go down.

I'm really new at this, but servage.net offers 75 GB space, 600 GB monthly transfer, and the sites are clustered for maximum uptime (although, I would imagine most hosts are). It's $7.50 a month.

They are not blazingly fast. So, if you get a ton of traffic you might not want to use them (the virtual plan).

I just re-read my post, and I can see how it might sound sarcastic. It was not meant to be. I apologize if anyone took it as such. I honestly didn't know that they limit you to 20 GB a day.

I agree. Servage is fine if you need a place to host a bunch of static pages, don't get a lot of traffic and don't care about speed.

I use Servik, They are a free host, so they pop a banner at the top of your page, b ut they offer 1000mb disk space and unlimited bandwith. I have never had a problem with speed or server crashes as they are clustered. The down side is obviously, no php and stuff. The only issue i have ever had was with the FTP server, it has went down once, most likely for maintenance. Other than that, if you could live without a bucnh of scripts, they are awesome.

600 gb is 1/2 or 1/3 of a whole dedicated server allocation ... so the 7.95 deals are just for suckers ( that would make a dedicated either 15.00 or 22.00 a month ... ).
