I know that this kind of business has its market and is growing.

2) In most cases these kind of sites uses sms billing services, such as bango.com - find out the small services package for the affordable price, and all of them have 50% comission to the payment service - not 15% as the credit card payment - it is very important, cause you have micro payments and the 50% will be from 2$ or may be 1$ for each sms purchased

3) You can purchase mobile adult content and other content or use mediaplazza.com partner program with their content and their billing

4) Don't forget that customers want to receive the purchased content by the wap link from the wap site - need to make it

One of my clients does good biz with ringtones and such, he uses a system from www gsmfriend dot com they provide him with the content and it is updated dynamicly.

SMS and mobile content

I've use a company called Excite Mobile. They offer mobile content delivery and sms/text chat (adult and non-adult). Their payouts are pretty good and they seem to know what they are doing. I think they don't charge set-up fees either. excite-mobile.com, or excite-mobile.co.uk, one of the two!

Any ideas of WAP page editors?

I'd be interested in a page editor or just a good guide to designing WAP sites. Most of the stuff I'm finding is lacking.

Just remember a lot of the newer smartphones have an HTML browser, they just need to be geared towards a smaller screen. Using a pda-phone myself, I know I hate any site with javascript, cause you can't do anything until the script finishes loading. And I actually prefer longer single pages rather than a bunch of tiny little pages. I'd rather let the page load once and then just scroll.
