Ok ppl, u didnt like my previous background, so i changed it. Tell me what u think about it. Well, it's far too vibrant - dark green is a definate no-no. You need to make it flow together - the logo at the top needs to integrate with the background, otherwise it looks like an amateur site.

Maybe suggest a color, maybe like the silver in the logo????

Get rid of the background or use something very basic which isn't as distracting as your current one.

Remove the animated bookmark GIF, make sure your design is consitent (the thumbs at the bottom somewhere start to have borders but don't have at the top)

ty for the input. as far as the pics at the bottom having borders, thats in the code and i cant take it out. if u can gimme a pointer or 2 to remove those, id be forever greatful, lol. i noticed that when i made the page, but couldnt figure out a way to remove the borders. the page consists of a TGP plugin and then just regular coded POTD's, which makes it hard to make the background fluid. can ya think of a color that would be easy on the eyes and easy to combine the 2 gallerys????? Once again, thanx for the help.

Personally, i'd recommend a more neutral background - something like a dark matt black or clean white/light grey - otherwise you run the risk of drawing the user's attention away from the content.

When it comes to removing image borders, it doesn't appear that you are using CSS, so you'll have to change the actual <img> tags by adding border="0".

If you like, and are willing to trust a GFY-noob (although a HTML, CSS, PHP, SQL veteran), i could take a look at the code of the site for you, and make a few changes - just reply to this post if you are interested.

i changed the background to a light gray/silver, did u see that 1????? ill take care of the borders on my next day off. not that i dont trust you, im just very particular, LOL. tyVm for the input

Go for a more neutral background color and then work on doing colorful graphics that will "pop" off the page. There is a lot of color in the thumbs already, so you need something that will contarst.

Also, you are missing your closing BODY and HTML tags at the end of your document.

white background.... trash the logo, some simple text would look better. get rid of that bookmark.
