noob!!! - suggetions??

Hello!! This place rules!!!

Well anyway, my name is Peter and I have just started a site. I am basically a noob at EVERYTHING right now. (Literally first time really using a camera, video recorder, video editing software etc...) I am learning things at a rapid rate and I (and my girl) really enjoy doing this and it is something I want to do. With all that said will you please check out my site and tell me what I should do with it??


Ok it is REALLY ghetto I know, so go ahead and blast away. You guys all seem pretty cool so hopefully at least some of it will be constructive criticism.
As far as content, I guess I am going for more of a brokenhome or supercult feel sort of, with some "messy" and a bunch of other weird stuff. I have a TON of sick and twisted ideas and a hot skinny girl that will do it, now I just need to learn the equipment better etc...


I already know I need help on just about everything lol. Including marketing. I also am thinking of maybe adding traffic trader page or something like that. Is that even a good idea?


Well, that is probably enough questions for now!! Any help/suggestions will be very much appreciated!!

Thank you. Yeah I like it here, there is tons of info in some of these threads. BTW I don't want anyone to get a membership at my site or anything, just take a look and tell me what I should improve or what they like or what sucks etc... There is a low bit rate sample vid there too. I can find info on marketing in some of these other threads. I am new to all this and I haven't really thought past getting the girl to do stuff until now. lol. Well thanks!

Revamp the design.
Get some scripts to automate some tasks that you normally have to perform yourself. (See: www.perlcoders.com and www.phplabs.com)
The sample video should play instead of download (I'm sure different browsers/configurations handle this differently--try using Flash to stream the video instead).

It's not a BAD site by any means... has a ton of potential. Just get it finished... seeing "Coming Soon" pages makes me INSTANTLY never want to return... as most "Coming Soon" pages that I've seen have remained that way for a long time.

When you get the site complete, consider some traffic generating scripts... again, see http://www.perlcoders.com/ and http://www.phplabs.com/ for TOP quality scripts.
