[Question] Building a TGP

Ok with everything else I figured its time to buy a server and setup a TGP after reading some of the great faqs on here.

What I was wondering is how the TGP is built, once you get/make a template you're going to use, what do you do?

Does anyone have a link or something that explains this further? Do you make a bunch of galleries and then a thumb for them, how are the pictures then linked and inserted for rotation into the template? Does the software do that for you? How do the inner workings work?

get your sponsors together that offer the niche you are going to be catering to on the TGP and grab their free hosted galleries to fill your TGP up to get you started. That is after you buy your script...

I know about the sponsered galleries, I've just never done it in a true TGP format, I just wasnt certain how you take those galleries and make then interact with your template, I didnt know if I had hours of programming or you just tell your script what to use and it does it for you.

How does your script know how say your template work, ie. where to put the pics, etc?

the script, whichever one you pick, has calls in the template that you place there. it then dumps the image or text and the link in the appropriate place.

comus even sorts by click "power" - the amount of clicks for the amount of impressions, which leads to greater productivity.

If your worried about sponsors, you can get comus and with one click load hosted galleries from several sponsors, already thumbed.
the templates are already in the script, you just make changes as you want, you can edit them right in the script
