How do I start?

Hi all.

I do websites on the side and I have plenty of time at night after the day job and would like start an Adult site and make some $$$$. I've been doing websites for a few years now and have my own Virtual private server with tons of space and bandwidth. The thing is I don't know where to start. Everyone wants to sell you something, which I don't mind paying for, but what's right?

Any help you can give is appreciated.

That depends on what you want to do. Do you want to run a TGP? A pay site? Since this sounds like a hobby, you have to ask yourself what you'll enjoy...

There's a lot of CRAP out there and I would like to do something quality and all encompassing. I do want to make some money but how much is the question? I don't know which are the best resources to use. I think it should include all media types, pics, movies and stories too. I don't care if it's gay, straight, bi or all the above, just legal. I know that i'm not being too specific but like I said lots of space and BW. I need to know what are the best resources for the media and the big one, how do I get visitors?

Any help you can give is greatly appreciated.

it was suggested to me not to go too big too soon.

find a niche that interests you.
buy a domain that will work with it.
buy a few more domains to supplement your network of sites.
either produce your own content, buy your own content, or market someone elses content.

if you want all media, it sounds like you want to make a blog.

Also read some tutorials. Take a tour in webmaster's places and read enerything. Step carefully.

I tried to go to big two quick with 2 tgp's and 5 blogs all at once. I spent WAY to much money on all these scripts. I use 1 of them now... I settled with 1 tgp and 1 blog and for now just those two take alot of my time.

I think is ABSOLUTLY helped to start small with one site maybe two and learn as you build. Jumping into huge scripts and tons of work can be daunting.

I started with a blog because that was the easiest thing for me to do technically. Since you already build websites you could probably do a TGP a lot faster than I could.

All you need is WordPress. You already have hosting and bandwidth.

I started my blog around 3 weeks ago and have spent a grand total of $20 on it. Haven't made anything yet either. LOL.
