I have recently started a music site for independant bands. Each artist has their own "Artist Page" to showcase their merchandise, CD's, Tour dates, images, etc. Obviously I need to have sound clips of their music but using Windows Media Server is far too cumbersome.
I've looked at Wimpy Player but i can't figure out the following questions:
1) Since each page is decicated to a specific artist can the player only show the tracks specific to that one artist?
2) can the player pop-up so the user can still surf the site?
3) I see that the player doesn't even have to show a library...can the player just simply play the track that the user clicks?
Here's an axample of an artist page.

Look in the top right corner under Listen to our Music. That's where the user will click a sample for the song. I will need the player to pop up at that point.Do you know of a player that will fit my needs?
